Anthony M. Genova

Since 1987, our accident, injury and medical malpractice clients have benefited from the power of law and medicine. During this same time, we have helped guide individuals, friends and families through difficult times by assisting them with issues involving family law, alimony, child custody, child support, divorce, paternity and criminal law. Our partnership with Anthony Genova, an attorney that has achieved remarkable success in family and criminal law, gives our clients a great advantage. Equally important, Mr. Genova shares our total commitment to helping others in need and treating each client like family.

Mr. Genova earned a scholarship to and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1986. He qualified as a moot court finalist and received an Award of Distinction. The following year he was admitted to The Florida Bar and has handled civil, criminal and family law cases. His trial skills earned him accolades early on – winning criminal cases against significant odds. Mr. Genova is passionate about protecting the constitutional rights of those charged with a crime – whether it involves DUI, white collar crimes or crimes of violence. He works tirelessly for clients to ensure that the American principle of justice – that everyone is innocent until proven otherwise – is preserved. He has tried hundreds of cases, many involving clients facing life-long prison sentences or the death penalty.

When Mr. Genova became a single father, he understood firsthand the struggle of parents trying to raise a family, work, and protect their children. At that time, he began to concentrate on assisting families going through separation or divorce, while minimizing any trauma to the children involved. Mr. Genova’s skills and experience provide a solid foundation to help his clients deal with issues of domestic violence and abuse. He works without compromise to secure peace of mind and financial stability for those who seek his help. The Florida Bar has selected him to serve as Secretary of the Rules and Forms Committee in the Family Law Section.

Mr. Genova remains active in his community; having served as deacon and Elder at his local church; teaching adult Sunday School; volunteering as a reader to local elementary school children; and serving as a Big Brother. He also established a Christ-centered recovery program, volunteers as a Guardian and monthly speaker and acts as a Monitor for Florida Lawyers Assistance. He firmly believes that his faith and family are his priority.

Florida Trial MD, is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and Mr. Genova is of counsel; this firm honor is limited to only the most distinguished law practices: those that have achieved an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. “The ‘A’ signifies the highest level of legal ability, while the ‘V’ denotes ‘very high’ adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability, and diligence.” We invite you to use our website to learn more about our law firm, your legal rights, and what we may be able to do for you.
